The Dubai Airshow is becoming recognized as a key event in the aerospace world. With Proxima offering incredible innovation within the sector, Managing Director Gerry Clark attended the event for the first time.
The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, the Ruler of Dubai. Its remit includes both civil and defence aerospace.
Gerry’s trip provided an opportunity to meet both existing and potential clients, and to share the potential of Proxima’s PM-HIP technology in the aerospace sector. Some of the key benefits to aerospace clients are reductions in buy-to-fly ratios and also in lead-times. Our technology creates near-net-shaped components, whilst retaining the highest standards of quality and reliability. All of which offers design and production advantages over traditional forgings and castings.
Whilst our primary home remains in the UK, Proxima supports businesses across the globe. It was a pleasure to meet more of them in Dubai, and we’ll certainly be back in 2027.
