Since 2016, Proxima Powder Metallurgy has been covertly pioneering PM HIP technology from its first facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) Sheffield. At the AMP we were able to deliver key projects, and secure major orders prior to our next location move.
As demand grew, it became clear that expansion was essential. In early 2023, Proxima took a major step forward by securing a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Sheffield. This facility provides one of the most advanced HIP encapsulation centres in the world.
With expansion, we have tripled our capacity, enabling us to support full-scale production while continuing to drive innovation through R&D projects. The investment in innovative technology and advanced manufacturing processes strengthens the ability to serve industries where performance and reliability are paramount.
This is the beginning of an exciting new phase—positioning Proxima as a key strategic supplier to the industry. As we continue our journey, our commitment to precision, innovation, and customer success remains stronger than ever.
